General instructions for enrollment to the :educational courses

 The institution provides its students variety of courses that include: teaching how to play oriental and western musical instruments, voice and singing training, teaching theoretical music, musical workshops for children, pupils’ participation in the conservatory musical ensembles and orchestras, preparing the students for matriculation exam in music, students’ participation in musical performances and different activities during the school year.

  • The school year in the institution begins on the 1st of September until the end of July.

  • Registration for course: “the musician child”: ages 3-6 years.

  • Registration for playing instruments courses:  age 5 years and above.

  • The basic specializing instrumental playing courses in the conservatory, which are individual lessons, are considered as one session a week (or two sessions a week according to the curriculum program prepared for the student).

  • The student enrolled in the instrumental playing courses chooses the instrument he wants.

  • The conservatory holds a personal meeting between the student and his instrument teacher in which the natural musical capabilities of the student are evaluated professionally.

  • In case the student is hesitant or unable to pick the musical instrument they want to learn; the conservatory will direct and help them make that decision.

  • In case the student enrolled in the instrument play course does not have the musical instrument, the conservatory will provide it to the student for a symbolic renting fees in case it is available at the conservatory.

  • Duration of the private individual lessons: 30 minutes/45 minutes/60 minutes, depending on the student’s age and their curriculum.

The curriculum

  • The curriculum at the conservatory consists of two lanes: the annual curriculum or the monthly curriculum.

  • The student can choose the curriculum they want to join.

  • The conservatory will direct and help the student choose the appropriate curriculum for them.

The annual curriculum:

  • During the annual curriculum students learn 36 Individual Music Lessons throughout the school year.

  • The conservatory gives the annual curriculum students the possibility to join the conservatory ensembles and orchestras, after passing an evaluation test of the student’s level and their musical capabilities in playing instruments or in singing.

  • The conservatory offers the annual curriculum students the possibility to join the theoretical music courses, after an evaluation test of student’s level in the theoretical subject.

  • The conservatory provides the annual curriculum students the possibility to prepare for the matriculation exams in music in 5 points level with specializing in playing an instrument. (see details in music matriculation).

  • During the school year, the conservatory makes a professional evaluation of students’ capability levels and follow up their progress in playing the instrument.

  • Students’ participation in periodical concerts and different musical activities during the school year.

  • In the end of the school year, the student is given a certificate for the course they studied.

  • The annual curriculum fees include joining the theoretical courses, the conservatory ensembles and orchestras, as well as participating in musical performances.

The monthly curriculum:

  • The conservatory provides the students a monthly curriculum and the possibility to be registered for experimental playing or singing course which consists of 12 private individual lessons (at least 3 months), in which a professional evaluation of the student’s capabilities and their musical readiness are evaluated in case they decide to continue to the annual curriculum.

  • In the monthly curriculum the conservatory is not obliged to enlist the student in the theoretical courses, in the conservatory ensembles or orchestras except of exceptional cases and musical considerations determined by the conservatory management.
